Reading Minor
The Reading minor has been designed to prepare candidates completing any licensure program in secondary or all-grade education programs for professional work in the area of reading instruction. The program concentrates on pedagogy, assessment, and learning development. Candidates gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills essential for boosting literacy rates among P-12 students. Upon completing this program, candidates are well-equipped to apply evidence-based practices to improve reading and written expression for all students.
