SPED 411 Practicum in Special Education

This field-based course provides the candidate with 30 hours of practical experience working with a licensed special education professional. Candidates will work with a student in their field placement to assess, plan, and implement targeted, data-based intervention.  Emphasis is placed on research-based instructional strategies appropriate for use in effective intervention design and implementation.  Teacher candidates are required to pass this course with a minimum of a B- or higher.
