WRIT 340 Literary Genres
An in-depth exploration of a specific literary genre-its history, conventions, and exemplars. Students will read representative works and compose their own manuscripts within the genre. Genre topics will rotate semester to semester. Topics may include lyric poetry, short story, novel, film, young adult fiction, creative non-fiction, confessional literature, mythopoeia, science fiction/fantasy, etc. May be repeated for credit.
