THTR 265 Voice for the Stage

This course will teach students how to use their speaking voice to its fullest potential on stage and in life. Content areas include the physiology of the voice, breath support, articulation, projection and the connection between the emotions and the nonverbal aspects of the spoken word. The key outcome of this course is to equip students with the skills and will to correctly exercise their voice on a daily basis, resulting in a clear and natural articulation with appropriate emotional control.
