MIN 441 Homiletics

An introduction to the basic principles of public speaking, with an emphasis on the delivery of sermons and homilies in the public arena. A study of the types and structures of sermons, exegesis as a basis for exposition, the proper use of argument and illustration and methods of delivery. Includes a laboratory experience in preparation and delivery of sermons.
