Admission to Teacher Licensure Programs

To be admitted to elementary, secondary, and all-grade teacher licensure programs, a student must meet the following requirements:

1. Achieved sophomore status
2. Have a minimum 2.70 grade point average on all college work
3. Complete ENGL 101, ENGL 102 and EDUC 102 with a grade of “C-” or better
4. Obtain at least the minimum scores currently required by the Indiana State Board of Education on the Core Academic Skills Assessments (CASA)
5. Successfully complete the Teacher Education Interview
