MSA 510 Governance and Policy in Sport

This course will examine administration and governance structures in amateur Interscholastic (NFHS and AAU), Intercollegiate (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA), Professional (NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL), Olympic (USOC and IOC), and Recreational sports. Emphasis will be placed on intercollegiate athletics. The Special Olympics and various other amateur sport organizations will be covered.
