CSC 360 Human Computer Interaction

This course examines the design, evaluation, and testing of user interfaces, with attention to user-centered design principles, adaptive technologies, and methods for usability assessment.  Students learn to design and evaluate interfaces through heuristic evaluation, cognitive walkthroughs, and user studies, while also considering accessibility, inclusivity, and the role of adaptive technology.  Because successful interface design requires insights from multiple disciplines - including computer science, psychology, and design - students work in teams to create and test interfaces, present findings, and propose user-driven improvements..
