COL 405 Practical Skills for Post College
This course exposes seniors to the practical skills of living independently as 21st century young adults. Approximately half the course is devoted to financial literacy: budgeting, credit basics, identity protection in a digital world, loans & mortgages, HSAs, and savings/retirement. Other practical topics include obtaining an apartment, meal planning, grocery shopping, home maintenance, car insurance and maintenance, navigating healthcare, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and becoming a good employee.
