First Year Experience Program

All first-time, full-time, traditional-aged, baccalaureate (non-associate) degree students participate in the First Year Experience program. Upon registration, students will be placed in a small group and assigned two professors and two upperclass students who serve as mentors. This program is designed to assist students in making a smooth transition to university life. The group will also remain together for a block of core course work. Not included are part-time, adult and transfer students.
