English Education, B.A.

The English Education major is a great choice for the person who loves writing and literature and desires to impact young people through teaching English at the middle or high school level. Students pursuing this major take the same courses and meet the same objectives as English & Writing majors, plus they complete 28-30 credit hours of professional education courses that lead to an Indiana teacher licensure, including eight credit hours of student teaching. Graduates teach in public and private schools all over the United States and around the world and are recognized locally and nationally for their excellence as teachers and leaders.
