MINP 151 Extension Studies Practicum I

This course is a structured learning experience where the university partners with extension sites to create beneficial and supervised training.  This practicum provides students with leadership or service opportunities within a local church or organization.  This practicum focuses on the character of a leader and provides an exploratory opportunity in an area of interest with potential for future fulltime work or service.  Particular attention is given to calling and personal gifting.  The practicum features a combination of reading and written reflections in addition to mentoring discussions.  May be repeated up to a total of six credit hours.
