MATH 242 Linear Algebra and Differential Equations
An introductory course in linear algebra and ordinary differential equations. Topics include: systems of equations, matrix algebra, determinants, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvaluesand eigenvectors, first order differential equations and applications, second and higher order linear equations, Laplace transforms, series solutions and numerical methods, and systems of linear equations. Three hours of lecture and three hours of recitation per week. Lab: MATH 242L
