BSS 498 Internship in Human Services
A human services internship or cooperative education experience within selected business, educational and social service settings. Other off-campus learning experiences may also be arranged in a metropolitan or cross-cultural setting. The human services internship experience is designed as a special opportunity for students to enhance their learning in an area of interest in the field of human services. This requires that the student have some background classes in the area in which s/he is trying to experience and learn. To accomplish this goal, students need to intentionally create and plan an experience that will help them to better understand their field. Requires advanced application and approval of instructor.
