ELED 305 Teaching in the Primary Grades

In this course students explore the role of families, communities and schools in supporting learning through creativity and play, especially in the primary grades. The course includes investigation and design of appropriate methods and strategies for psychosocial interaction, including creation of classroom environments that provide for elementary students' optimum development to learn with peers and adults. Fifteen hours of classroom observation/participation are required. Lab: ELED 305L
