MSA 600 Internship in Sport Administration
Students will have the opportunity to participate in individualized learning that allows them to gain hands on experience in real world sport environments. These experiences may be in a student's current workplace or with a sport organization outside of their current workplace with consultation and assistance from their advisor. Students not currently working within a sport related field will work with their advisor to create a unique internship that allows them to gain actual and relevant experience in the sport administration field. All internships are conducted under direct supervision of an experienced sport administration professional. The internship is a vital part of the student's preparation and education for transitioning to a new role in sport administration with their current employer or entry into a new position. The sport administration internship allows a student to apply lessons in the classroom with various sport environments to develop their career objective.
